The Team at Reiss Engineering, in the spirit of continued service, takes pride in showing support and care for the community. Each year, and as opportunities arise, REI joins with local charities and worthy causes deemed beneficial to individuals and families in the area. Whatever the occasion, the REI Team gives with gusto, has fun, and receives in return, smiles and warm thank-yous and the joy that comes from sharing.

2007 Community Involvement
Junior Achievement at St. Cloud Elementary
Reiss Engineering, along with other professionals, joined together with the Junior Achievement organization on May 1st to teach the fourth and fifth graders of St. Cloud Elementary about the world of business. Students were taught about the manufacturing process and the importance of resources. With our help we hope the Junior Achievement organization will reach its goal this year of inspiring 96,000 students in the Central Florida area.

2007 Great Strides Walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Sanford Riverwalk

On Saturday April 28, 2007, the staff of Reiss Engineering participated in the 2007 Great Strides Walk in an effort to raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. The walk, which took place at the Sanford Riverwalk, was a huge success. Seminole County Commissioner Bob Dallari hosted the event and led over 400 walkers on the 1-1/2 mile walk. The 2007 Sanford Walk alone sucessfully raise approximately $145,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation which almost doubled the amount of last year's inaugural walk. Reiss Engineering is proud to have been a participant this year and congratulates Ms. Penny Seater, Executive Director of the Orlando Office Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, for organizing such a successful and worthwhile event!

Seminole County 9th Annual Boy Scouts of America Golden Eagle Dinner
April 2, 2007, Reiss Engineering Participated in Seminole County's Boy Scout Golden Eagle Dinner at the Lake Mary Marriott Hotel. REI sponsored a front-row table at the event, and was also a financial donor to the organization where a total of over $200,000 was raised for this worthy cause. Our firm was pleased to host several important local dignitaries and elected officials at the table, which was attended by over 500 people. REI is thankful to those that joined us at this fun and important event, and is greatful for the chance to continue our sponsorship of this great event for Seminole County.

Annual Founders Day Golf Tournament
Reiss Engineering employees participated in the Annual Founders Day Golf Tournament on October 19, 2007. This tournament was just one of many events scheduled as part of this year's Ocoee Founders' Day Festival. We enjoyed being a part of

Reiss Engineering believes in being part of the solution no matter what the problem may be. That is why we attended the Diamond Gala that raised over $188,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This organization is dedicated to funding blood cancer research education and patient services. We wholeheartedly give generous support to this organization for it's noble efforts in helping patients and their families.
The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. That's why Reiss Engineering decided to support the Kid's House of Seminole County by attending the breakfast event held on November 9th at the Lake Mary Marriott. We appreciate the efforts of this children's advocacy center and learned how to be of further assistance in the future.

Reiss Engineering is a 2007 platinum sponsor for the Safe House of Seminole County. We are dedicated to help victims of abuse. The 2nd Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Luncheon was held on Thursday October 4th. The keynote speaker, Denise Brown gave a compelling address to all attendees to "End The Silence".
